Stress is a natural response of our body and in small doses can even be good for us. It keeps us alert and focused in challenging situations, such as at work, in traffic, or at personal events. But when stress is prolongedor becomes too intense, it can have negative effects on both our bodies and minds. It then becomes a strain that can manifest itself in various ways, such as tense muscles, headaches, fatigue, and even mental symptoms such as anxiety or gloom.
Sometimes we carry the marks of prolonged stress with us for years, or we have suffered traumas in our childhood or adult years that leave their mark in our bodies. This can manifest as a feeling of something stuck in your body, tension or stiffness, which can eventually lead to physical and mental symptoms. I offer guidance with various techniques to release that built-up tension in a safe and effective way. Together we work on your recovery and bring you back into balance - so you can go through life freer, lighter and with more peace .
Why Breathwork?
Breathwork offers numerous benefits for both mental and physical health.
Mental benefits include stress reduction, anxiety relief, emotion release, improved focus and clarity, while it can also help you connect with your inner self. It helps you to listen to yourself and supports you in making difficult choices. In addition, breathwork can be used as a tool to support the processing of trauma.
Physically, it improves respiratory function, boosts the immune system, lowers blood pressure, aids in pain management and promotes better sleep. Incorporating breathwork into your routine can lead to significant improvements in overall well-being.
*Each breathwork session varies. In addition, there are many aspects that influence the effect and depth of a session.
